WOMEN'S BUSINESS MENTORING CIRCLE Print

The Women’s Business Mentoring Circle provides a forum for learning and connecting with other women business owners. Each meeting consists of 30 minutes of open networking, a 30 minute keynote speaker (including time for questions) and 1 hour of focused, break-out mentoring in smaller groups. During the breakout, the small groups discuss various business concerns and focus on those issues that are blocking success.  Participants provide guidance, ideas and feedback to each other and help in the development of skills, techniques and perspectives.  Each small group has one or more facilitators.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND 

This event is for all women business owners who want to teach as well as learn from others. You are welcome at any point in your entrepreneurial journey – whether it be as a seasoned business owner or a new start-up.

 

OUR GUEST SPEAKER 

Annette Gray serves as a Business Development Manager for the Florida Women's Business Center.  Annette is able to pull from her own experience as a business owner of a marketing firm in her efforts to support women business owners.  She has over 22 years of experience in Marketing, Public Relations and Event Planning in the private and public sector.  Her education and credentials include a Masters in Business with an emphasis in Marketing, BA in Mass Communication & French, Certificate of Micro Enterprise & Entrepreneurship Instructor and FRA Certificate ABC CRAs & Development. In addition to helping women business owners and managing her own business, Annette is a realtor and team leader of a Commercial Real Estate Group and serves as an adjunct faculty member for two local universities.  She will present:

 

Mind Your Business…..Plan!

You will receive an overview of the importance of a strategic plan and its various components. Whether you need to develop or refresh your business plan, this topic is essential for your success!  Now is the time for a great 2009 plan!  You’ll learn:

 
  • What a business plan is and who needs one?
  • How it can be used to help your business?
  • What are the required elements that make it acceptable in the business world?
  • What materials are necessary in order to begin writing a real business plan?
