The Boynton Beach Small Business Development Program has been created to assist Boynton Beach residents who desire to start up a small business or accelerate the growth of an existing business.  It is a three month program that works in and outside the classroom, providing group training and individual counseling services.

  • Phase One consists of 3 workshop sessions on introductory business skills
  • Phase Two consists of a 3 day workshop on business plan writing
  • Phase Three consists of 3 workshops on essential business skills
  • Phase Four consists of 2 workshops on tools to grow a business and a graduation ceremony   

Additionally, each student is able to participate in individual business counseling sessions that are tailored to the specific needs of the student’s business needs.  

Cost: FREE    

Register: Pre-registration is required. Class size is limited to 25 students.  (Preference is given to Boynton Beach residents and business owners.)  Registration closes on April 9, 2010. You will be notified by close of business day on April 12, 2010 if you have been accepted into the program.

 

Class B Schedule    

Each student is able to participate in a total 9 workshops. Workshops will primarily take place on Wednesday evenings, with the exception of one Saturday workshop & a Friday night graduation ceremony.
