This workshop will explore creative methods to finance your business and review the intricacies involved in raising capital. Potential funding methods that will be covered include loans, grants, angel investors, “hard money,”  bridge loans, sale of company stock, convertible debentures, equipment leases, factoring, borrowing against contracts, borrowing against receivables, home loans, lines of credit, collateralization, sponsorship sales, and SBA loans.  Participants will learn what lenders consider when assessing risks and rendering a favorable underwriting decision.  Participants will also learn how they can start their loan process and what makes a successful loan request.
